Job Duties:
- Provide quality customer service and work toward the generation, promotion and maintenance of a quality work environment for the staff of Lubbock National Bank.
- Maintain a positive attitude and provide team support.
- Act as the receptionist/secretary.
- Open new accounts; open and redeem safe deposit box contracts.
- Sell and redeem CDs.
- Assist with bookkeeping questions and help as needed to serve our customers as efficiently as possible.
- Take incoming and outgoing wires
- Prepare monthly bank statements.
- Issue pulse cards.
- Sell and place IRA’s on distribution.
Requirements:
A high school diploma is required, some college is preferred and a minimum of 2 years of general banking experience. Teller, new accounts, CDs and general operations experience is helpful. Typing skills of 45-50 wpm, 10-key by touch, PC literacy, and general clerical and secretarial skills are required. The ability to work and communicate well with customers and fellow employees, both orally and in written form, is very important, as is a strong marketing/sales orientation. Must be neat in appearance and be able to work a flexible schedule.

- Make Marketing calls on existing customers, as well as potential customers. These calls are to be reported to the Marketing Department and will be discussed at the Marketing meeting.
- Develop and manage commercial loan accounts which meet established lending requirements and which provide maximum profitability to the Bank with a minimum of risk.

Requirements:

- Handle exchange, change orders, loan payments, etc.

- Verify, straighten and bundle money sold to the vault.
- Provide friendly, fast and efficient customer service.
- Travel to branch locations upon Operations Manager’s request.
